Blue Cheese or Pickle & Roast Beef Toasties

We like to make two different versions of this:
Version one with additional blue cheese added and mayonnaise to make a creamy blue cheese and roast toastie.
Version two is sweet mustard pickle and blue cheese ranch dressing version, which is more pickle forwards, with a bit of sharpness from the ranch dressing,and a very subtle blue cheese hit from the ranch.
Both these toasties owe their special flavours to the superb Myanbah
Farm gourmet goodies; Free Range Egg Mayonnaise, Blue Cheese & Ranch Dressing and Sweet Mustard Pickle, you can spice your toastie up even more with Chipotle Mayo, Roasted Garlic or Kaffir Lime Aioli or Chilli Jam
Blue Cheese & Roast Beef Toastie
- 1. Using a nice thick sourdough smear both sides liberally with the Myanbah Farm Free Range Mayonnaise
- 2. Add Blue Cheese, then Roast Beef and then ordinary grated cheese
- 3. Grind with fresh pepper or your favourite herbs then put top slice on the toastie
- 4. Microwave for 20 seconds, rotate and then microwave another 20 seconds, then fry in a frypan with plenty of butter or the Myanbah Chilli and Garlic Oil. You can do without the microwave but you will need to keep the frypan temperature very low to ensure the middle melts.
